The last few years has seen such an explosion in the number of rosés available that we’ve moved very quickly from just stocking one or two to stocking 15 to 20. It’s the increased interest in it and the improvement in quality, that’s allowed us to source more than ever before and from all over the world. Its popularity has also been helped with it now being a great alternative to white.
Most rosé wine connoisseurs know their colour and it ranges from pale onion skin to out and out pink. Krug Rosé lies exquisitely at one end of the scale and Chilean Santa Digna Rosé 2007 Torres Curico at the other.
