So much wine … too little time

Australia

Australia’s wine producing area is as vast as it is diverse. There is so much to choose from, it’s hard to single any one out.

Recently, we’ve been most excited by Xabregas set up in 1996 by a pair of stockbrokers, Terry Hogan and Eve Broadley, who shared a passion for wine.

Xabregas has three outstanding vineyards in the Mount Barker Region of Western Australia – Fig Tree Lane, Spencer and Narrikup – producing Riesling, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc; Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Shiraz.

The grapes are supplied to The Vintage Wineworx winery nearby where they cleverly combine traditional wine making methods with the latest innovations such as micro-oxygenation technology and sophisticated in-tank staves oaking methods, using oak from renowned French and American forests.
